The origin of sate, aka satay, is most likely Indonesia. Sate became a national dish of Indonesia, and was voted one of the most delicious foods of the world (CNN). It comes in so many local variations that we had a hard time to decide between all these delicious versions. This is the first recipe of a series with the most distinctive sate flavors.
