Koshary is originally a meal to finish left-overs. Today it is a popular street food, and also served in dedicated Koshary Restaurants. To assembly this Egyptian national dish, first pile up your plate in layers of rice, pasta, and lentils. Sprinkle it with onions and garbanzo beans. Top with red and white sauce to taste. Then mix all together and dig in!
